These photos are of Deron James, an up and coming soul singer, who’s music clings to your soul and your heart. During our discussion about the direction of the shoot Deron mentioned to me that he wanted the photos to show him and who he was, apart from his alter ego, Brother Erthe St. James. I decided to overexpose each shot to give the effect of him being in a dream like state, all alone in the world, with his guitar (Dean).
